Sai Baba fails to conjure up new kidney, small intestine in time to save life Apr.26.2011

Puttaparthi – Spiritual leader Sai Baba passed away Sunday after spending a month in the Puttaparthi hospital intensive care unit and repeatedly failing to materialize a new kidney or intestinal track in time to save his life. Doctors were initially confident in Sai Baba’s recovery from his various health issues given the guru’s ability to materialize certain objects out of thin air, a practice they thought could be very useful given the number of critical organs he needed to replace. The initial enthusiasm of the Puttaparthi medical community began to fade as the Guru could only manage to conjure up less critical items such as watches, rings, and fruit, items which were appreciated but not helpful from a medical perspective. Doctor Sunil Venkatesan expressed his frustration in a press conference Sunday, detailing how he continually asked Sai Baba to focus on conjuring up a “kidney, gall-bladder, even a small piece of liver” all to no avail. “We have been eating really well this last month just because of all the fruit and honey he produced, and the whole staff loves the watches. I just wish he could have given me some Pancreas and maybe he would still be here.”
